FAKE FULANI WOMAN VIDEO ALERT:

FAKE VIDEO ALERT. BEWARE OF WHAT YOU POST OR SHARE ON SOCIAL MEDIA

Our attention has been drawn to a viral video being shared on Whatsapp and Facebook.

The video shows a woman holding an AK 47 Assault Rifle and practising how to use it. The promoters of the video have alledged that it is Fulanis teaching their wives how to handle AK 47s in preparation for a potential war and calling on Christians to get on with their preparation.

After careful investigation and verification on the Video by the Buharists’ Hang Out, it was discovered that:

1. The Video is not of Nigerian Origin.

2. The video was first seen about 2 year ago.

3. It was possibly reposted on Youtube on 14th May 2018 most probably by mischief makers.

4. The language spoken in the video is clearly not Nigerian. It is a language common to the Chadians and Sudanese.

One truly wonders the motive of those promoting this type of mischief.

We once more call on fellow citizens to be cautious and careful with the materials they receive and share. They might just be helping to promote fake news and hate materials deliberately created by enemies of the nation and humanity, just to fuel and worsen the security crisis for their selfish and evil purposes.

One doesn’t need lies to support a truth. The truth is structurally and inherently fit to stand firmly.

If you need to lie against a supposed criminal, then you’re the criminal. Those who create and manufacture lies and who politicize killings and seek to ‘profit’ from the blood of innocents are no better than terrorists.

The ironic thing is that the people fabricating falsehoods to promote hate narratives are supposedly religious people including leaders. The very same way they fabricated lies against Christ and afterwards against the Apostles.

If the truth cannot nail a criminal, why do people feel lies would? Let us be very careful how we spread fake news.

What did the bible teach us about seeking and searching for truth:

“There are Six (6) things that the good Lord hates, Seven (7) that are an abomination to him;

– HAUGHTY EYES,
– A LYING TOUNGUE,
– HANDS that SHED INNOCENT BLOOD,
– A HEART that devises WICKED PLANS,
– FEET that make haste to RUN to EVIL,
– A FALSE WITNESS who breathes out LIES, and
– One who sows DISCORD among brothers.” – Proverbs 6:16-19

IN CONCLUSION:

~ The video highlighted here which is being shared by many and alleged to be Fulani women being taught how to use AK 47 by their husbands is untrue and only meant to deceive and cause mischief and disaffection amongst Nigerians.

~ The video is not of Nigerian origin. Neither is the woman in the video nor the language spoken.
